It was clear from the very beginning that Holland Marine Parts wanted to develop the Jet Thruster system in to a product that could be relied upon by boat owners and operators around the globe.
Holland Marine Parts made a considerable investment in Research and Development early on to ensure the product they now manufactured would not only meet customer requirements while operating but also offer significant savings during supply and installation to further reduce the overall cost to the end customer.
Initial research lead to a more efficient design of the pump impeller and impeller housing as well as a new shape to the 3-way valve, increasing the performance of every Jet Thruster kit.
Over the years we have seen further design changes to the Jet Thruster kits which offer easier installation, both electrically and especially the below waterline fittings. Composite skin fittings offer further protection against electrolysis while composite valves ensure smooth operation for the life of the system. The plug and play wiring harness ensures the electrical installation of the control system will always be high quality, with a certified marine electrician only required to install the power supply and the batteries for the motor. Operation of the Jet Thruster system has been simplified even further with the upgraded remote control unit which allows for accurate control of the boat during docking even when solo boating.
